I was surprised, when we were traveling from MN to MA and back, how many places did not have containers for recycling. Minnesota seems way ahead of many other states in recycling.
These containers require service which is fueled by tax dollars. I suspect that is why their availability is so varied despite the fact that recycling is necessary.
