Every time I look at your photos, I try to guess the location. I know where this one is and I know it well. My late cousin Dave Kovacs ran a piano shop around the corner on Selby and on many an occasion I made beer runs to Park Liquors.
I miss those days, after Dave and Pat closed the shop, their musician friends would stop by to make music late into the night.
So many of them are gone now, Dave, Craig, Star…. may they be still making music together.
Every time I look at your photos, Dan, I am drawn in by the details within the scene. Today it’s the creative mural. Thank you for preserving these iconic places through your photos.
