Yeah, was not expecting this shot. Why are they thawing the road?
There’s such contrast in this image, b/n those focused workers and the traffic, b/n the muted background and their neon safety clothing and cones. That makes this photo especially interesting. But, mostly, it’s the everyday slice of life that draws me into this scene.
The road was tore up the previous few days; they just put down fresh asphalt, but it was pretty cold. I think they needed to heat it up to finish off their process.
