Totally agree with avian101 on the composition, with the curving road leading my eye into the image. I also like the contrast of colors–the pops of red against the white landscape.
That is one of the aspect of winter photography that draws me to the barns – they stand out nicely against the white backdrop. They also contrast well with green in the summer. They are perfect subject to photograph.
