Bulk Irrigation. While out hunting here and there for snowy owls (saw none) I managed to photography a lot of irrigation units. I love the lines and patterns. #Irrigation

These are center-pivot irrigation systems. Unfortunately, they are a poor system that sends a lot of water into the air to evaporate instead of drenching the soil effectively. The old pipe irrigation was more effective but a lot more labor intensive for the farmers.
Very true. I like their lines and the way that water looks spraying into the air. Unfortunately, convenience wins over labor intensive almost every day of the week.
