Sadly; without a plat book it is often hard to locate who the land owner is. The land doesn’t always belong to the closest home. A proper No Trespass posting should contain the owner name and contract information, but many do not. One could argue that the post is not complete and therefor legal – oooOOooo grey area.

There are no shortages of old and abandoned railroad grades. Many time they are converted to bike trails. The never more than +/- 3% grade makes this an ideal repurpose venture.
