I just have to say: I detest the word “awesome.” It’s way overused and has lost any significant meaning because of that. There, got that out.

Well seen …I agree totally with MPR about the word Awesome..it has blown across to the European Continent even!! No stopping it!
All through time there are “sayings” that people latch onto and over-use. I notice them too and am annoyed. People also take the already over-used term and modify it to create an equally annoying saying – awesomesauce has been popular for a while too, but seems to be fading.
I agree, Dan. Words like “cool,” “amazing,” and “groovy” come to mind. I’m dating myself with two of those.
