I love distressed wood, old window panes, old homes…I always have the urge to steal them. LOL
I can identify with that notion. They fetch a pretty penny in antique/second hand stores.
I love the textures that we can find in old wood. This is very nearly monochrome–or did you convert it to B&W and then restore the subtle blue to the frame? Either way, it’s a good find, and a good catch!
This is pretty much straight from the camera + contrast – shadows + a titch of saturation. The blue was faint and I really had to tug to get it to come out.

I adore the texture, the color and the feel of this old window!
Most people would bypass this without a second look or even a first notice. But it is the photographer’s poetic and artistic eye which sees the art and beauty in this window. Missing pane or missing pain, or both?
