The squirrels are really out scampering these days. Saw one the other day with only a stub of a tail. I assume perhaps run over by a vehicle. I wonder how that impacts his/her balance.
I’ve seen stubbies in the backyard and they seem to fair just fine. I am not sure if this color variation was due to injury or a connection with a fox squirrel or something else. She is unique tho as all others are grayer than gray.
she is back for a visit, maybe it means spring is coming? I used to see black, charcoal grey and similiar to this colour where I used to live…only see them similiar to this colour were I live now…my indoor cat loves to watch them!
