Badlands National Park – The Landscape<\/h1>\n

Interior, SD is\u00a0approximately 550 miles from our doorstep. \u00a0It wasn’t a bad drive at all and thankfully we had no major delays. \u00a0You have a few choices for\u00a0camping in close proximity to Badland National Park. \u00a0Both\u00a0Cedar Pass Campground<\/a> and the White River KOA<\/a> are very close. \u00a0If you like trees and perhaps some shade, the latter is your better choice. \u00a0White River KOA is only 8 miles south from Interior. \u00a0Post Labor Day meant no crowds; we were fine with that. \u00a0The campground had nice sites with shade and clean restroom\/showers. \u00a0A perfect base for our two-day stay.<\/p>\n

After setting up camp we headed into the park to find a suitable sunset location; \u00a0we decided on Pinnacles Overlook in Badlands National Park. \u00a0Here are a few photos from that evening.<\/p>\n
