TOTAL LUNAR ECLIPSE<\/h1>\n

The eclipse will happen on the night of the year\u2019s first of three straight full\u00a0<\/span>supermoons<\/a>, meaning the moon will be nearly at its closest to Earth for this January, as the eclipse takes place.<\/span><\/p>\n

Many are calling it a Blood Moon eclipse. Why? We\u2019re not entirely sure, but you can\u00a0read more about Blood Moons here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Now here\u2019s a single, sad\u00a0last thing<\/em>. This will be the last total lunar eclipse to grace Earth\u2019s sky until May 26, 2021.

I don’t care what you call it, shooting the moon is something to experience.\u00a0 The weather can be challenging and then there is always gear performance.\u00a0 Camera batteries do not like the cold; when they get old, they only go down hill faster.\u00a0 I can relate.<\/p>\n

It was -7 to -11.\u00a0 I switched out batteries once.\u00a0 Covering the camera with a blanket helped tremendously.\u00a0 A bonfire would have been wonderful.<\/p>\n
