I decided to venture out anyway.<\/p>\n<p>I didn&#8217;t have enough time to get where I wanted to.\u00a0 Alternatively I found a n area on top of a bluff along a road with an area of wide-open space.\u00a0 \u00a0If I wasn&#8217;t going to see an resemblance of a sunset, it could be viewed from here.<\/p>\n<p>When the conditions are not necessarily what you are hoping for in a typical sunset, there are options.\u00a0 Abundant clouds in motion are perfect for time-lapse.\u00a0 I only wish I had gotten there sooner and had more time.\u00a0 Just under and hour of shooting yielded 5 whole seconds of video.<\/p>\n<p>I used the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B017THGEFQ\/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=9325&amp;creativeASIN=B017THGEFQ&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;tag=dantrauphot-20&amp;linkId=0c1ddcf5025faa5ff9b590817f929460\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Syrp Genie Mini Camera Motion Control &#8211; Wireless\u00a0<\/a>to achieve the rotation.\u00a0 An excellent way to introduce motion into your time-lapse sequences.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com\/images\/I\/81r2NJrTr8L._SL1500_.jpg?resize=474%2C354&#038;ssl=1\" width=\"474\" height=\"354\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>[Very] Brief Time-lapse<\/h2>\n<p><span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"474\" height=\"267\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/5NKpXsUIou8?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=en-US&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Views: 176<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>BLUFF TOP CLOUDY SUNSET I was a bit late getting home from work and was not so quick to change and load up my photo gear.\u00a0 The sunset forecast for this evening was not great; however the weather was so nice\u00a0 (40+ degrees on the 18th of December).
