GERMANY – Schwangau<\/h1>\n

Schwangau\u00a0is a\u00a0municipality\u00a0in the district of\u00a0Ostallg\u00e4u\u00a0in\u00a0Bavaria,\u00a0Germany. The village lies 4\u00a0km from the larger town of\u00a0F\u00fcssen\u00a0and just 1.5\u00a0km from\u00a0Hohenschwangau,\u00a0 collection of tourist-oriented facilities adjacent to the major tourist attractions of\u00a0Schloss Neuschwanstein\u00a0and\u00a0Schloss Hohenschwangau. – wikipedia<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Schwangau has no rail service and aside from renting a car, Bus Bavaria is a great mode of transport to get you there.\u00a0 We booked a tour through\u00a0Mikes Bike Tours \/ Bus Bavaria \/ Bike Rentals\u00a0<\/a>to visit Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles.\u00a0 If you plan to visit these castle and think you will save a euro or two by standing in the line to get tickets – MISTAKE.\u00a0 The lines are so long and if it is warm, there isn’t any shade to stand in.<\/p>\n

We went on the Summer Neuschwanstein Castle Tour by Bus (with bike ride)<\/a>.\u00a0 At\u00a0 \u20ac59\u00a0 ea for adults, it was well worth it.\u00a0 Bus travel to\u00a0 and from Munich, bike ride, plus you skip the lines when you arrive!\u00a0 Super simple to book online and no hassle at all.\u00a0 We were able to walk to their office from our hotel to get on the bus.<\/p>\n

The Bike Ride<\/h2>\n

The bike ride was easy over generally flat terrain.\u00a0 We peddled out to a lake; stopped for a bit so people could take a dip if they wanted and then headed back to where we started for lunch at Schloss Brauhaus.<\/a><\/p>\n
